Description
Letter addressed to Mrs R. [Ruby] Durham reporting on the findings of the investigation into the death of Sergeant Durham. Mentions new information concerning her son from Air Ministry that, after extensive searching where the plane went missing, no trace can be found of the aircraft or crew with the exception of Sergeant J. H. A. Beath whose body washed to shore. Also mentions Air Ministry is reluctantly compelled to assume Durham lost his life at sea and the unlikelihood of further information becoming available.
