Description
Snowline Gloves by Perfectan worn by Derek Wright during Commonwealth Trans-Antarctic Expedition (1955-1958).

Tan leather mitten style snow gloves, lined with grey wool. Leather band at wrist with dome closure on each mitten. Domes are black with marking "PERFECTAN NZ". Loop of leather at bottom of each glove both loops are attached with a blue striped lace. Glove is labelled "LEFT" and both are labelled "SNOWLINE" in blue and "PERFECTAN" in red on the tabs. Left glove is labelled "WRIGHT" and "DEREK WRIGHT" on the right glove.
