Description
Vehicle Mould [Exterior Boot Lid, Heron MJ1] Fibreglass and resin mould for casting exterior boot lid. Two wooden brackets running parallel with rear of object fixed with fiberglass and adhesive. Includes central opening for vent.

Part of set of black resin (interior) and grey fibreglass (exterior) moulds used to fabricate the exterior body and interior components of the Heron MJ1Sportscar in 1980. The moulds were made from wooden "plugs" that formed the basic outline of the vehicle. The moulds were made and designed by Heron vehicle designer Ross Baker in 1980.
