Vehicle Mould [Boot Catch Tray, Heron MJ1]. Fibreglass and resin mould for casting for boot catch tray. Rectangular shaped mould with slightly curved edges.Grey upper surface. Sticker on back "Rotorua / 19 Maisey Pl / Fibreglass / Industries Ltd / MANUFACTURE - REPAIR / Phone (07) 438 4719 / Job Number HERON MJ1 / Serial Number Boot Catch Tray".

Part of set of black resin (interior) and grey fibreglass (exterior) moulds used to fabricate the exterior body and interior components of the Heron MJ1Sportscar in 1980. The moulds were made from wooden "plugs" that formed the basic outline of the vehicle. The moulds were made and designed by Heron vehicle designer Ross Baker in 1980.
