Description

Britannia Trophy awarded to Jean Batten by the Royal Aero Club, 1935. Metal plaque moulded with circular central piece depicting female figure (Britannia) with helmet trident and shield bearing Union Jack, laurel wreath towards base. Trophy engraved with "ROYAL / AERO / CLUB / BRITANNIA / TROPHY / MISS JEAN BATTEN / 1935". Mounted on black plastic backpiece.
