Description
"My present work is written with the intention of filing the gap between too advanced works and books of very elementary nature. One of the reasons is to provide the readers of my previous books on "wireless" with a sort of quick reference conspectus that may be used when reading more advanced and more serious books on the subject.
It is for this reason that I have avoided as much as possible the use of mathematical formulae and relied mostly on description on terms that occur often in books on electrical subjects.
I have also enlarged somewhat the scope of the dictionary by including a number of scientific terms not usually found in forks of this kind and laid a good deal of stress on the electronic theory which is, in my opinion, the foundation of all electrical subjects." - introduction
