Description
Black and white group photograph of buses inside the the Suburban Buses Limited depot on the corner of Church Street and Captain Springs Road, Te Papapa, Onehunga Auckland. Five buses are visible inside the depot, in various states of repair. Bus being built on are Bedford Chassis either OWB or OB models. OB Bedford Bus, produced 1939, 1945 - 1953.
Suburban Buses built their own buses at the rear of the property. Windows in image look out onto the Te Papa Station. The photograph was possibly taken on either the last day before closing of the Depot, or the buses were stopped.
