Description
"The Neocyclostyle Duplicating Apparatus" (printed in gold and black lettering on catch side). Wooden box containing various inking boards, roller, brush etc. Probably made by the Gestetner Co. (name appears on label). Various parts used listed below: 181.1 (Box) - Wooden container with fixed hinge lid. .2 (Ink Pad) - Ink pad on wooden frame. .3 (Impression Unit) - Ink pad on wooden frame, hinged to which is a frame to mount the impression paper (has a reverse print copy in place which is titled "Association Football, Junior Schoolboys Tournament" dated August 1950. .4 (Roller) - Heavy steel roller, rubber surface, with wooden handle (probably to spread the ink). .5 (Tube of ink) - Gestetner ink (black and white logo on tube "Gestetner" in script with quill and ink bottle logo) white tube. .6 (Brush) - small bristle brush, wooden handle with printed words "Obc Reliance NZ" and "XL Dental".
