Description

2 x registration number plates (Swiss) for car. Originally belonged to Messerschmitt (bright red car) - donated by Dr R J Thompson. Both have the number in white letters on red background "3326-TT-75". Item 1: is the larger of the 2, and has a 3 mm border in plain aluminium. It also has 2 additional mounting holes on top edge. Item 2: has only 2 mounting holes, although they have been enlarged. This plate has more surface damage than item 1. Both plates have had the numbers stencilled by hand.

Brief History

This is one of the two original number plates from MOTAT's Messerschmitt. This plate was attached to the vehicle when the owner lived in Zurich, Switzerland between 1958-1961.
