Telecom Phone Card presentation collectors pack.
The collectors pack is held in a clear, plastic case which has the Telecom logo embossed in the top right corner.
A cardboard sleeve holds the presentation booklet. On the front of the sleeves is an illustration of a Christmas scene in which Santa Claus sneaks around a sleepy child with his sack of presents. In the top right corner is the Telecom logo with the text, “PhoneCard ™” underlined. The text, “1996 / CHRISTAMS / SERIES / OFFICIAL / COLLECTOR ISSUE / 2250 / SETS ONLY”, is depicted on the front. On the reverse of the sleeve is the Telecom logo with the text, “PhoneCard ™” underlined. Beneath this is the text, “TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS / […]”, detailing further information about the PhoneCards.
The presentation booklet folds outs to reveal three interior pages which hold five PhoneCards. A square piece of tissue paper is held loosely within the booklet. The front cover of the booklet is the same as the front cover of the cardboard sleeve.
On the first page the Telecom logo with the text, “PhoneCard ™” underlined is seen in the top right corner. The background depicts a blue and white pattern. The text, “T’WAS THE NIGHT BEFORE / CHRISTMAS WHEN ALL THROUGH / THE HOUSE…” / $5 GST INC. PHONECARD”, is printed with a black arrow pointing downwards towards a cut out which holds a Phone Card.
The PhoneCard has an illustration of four different scenes featuring Santa Claus. There is a red arrow at the top pointing in an upwards direction. The Telecom logo is visible in the bottom right corner, and the text, “$5 GST / INC. / PHONECARD ™” is present in the bottom left corner. On the reverse of the card is the barcode, “ADCB1689404”, in the top corner is the letter, “B”. Beneath this is the text, ““Twas the night before Christmas when / all through the house…” / Telecom New Zealand wishes you a very Merry Christmas”.
