Description
'DestinatioNZ' boardgame. Designed by New Zealand school teacher R. J. Reynolds and manufactured by Tourist Trade Enterprises in association with Air New Zealand, the New Zealand Automobile Association (AA), and the Motel Association of New Zealand (MANZ). The object of the game is that "each player is a tourist visiting beautiful New Zealand. The winner is the first to visit all their destinations".
The game comes in a rectangular cardboard box which has an image of Lake Matheson, a map of New Zealand, and a kowhaiwhai pattern border. The game components include: 1 game board, 1 die, 5 player markers (Red, Yellow, Green, Purple, White), 25 'DestinatioNZ' cards, 12 'Fly North Island' cards, 12 'Fly South Island' cards, 1 number token sheet, 2 question sheets for the North and South Islands.
