Description
Three letterpress printed poems created at live letterpress and poetry event with poets and letterpress artists, Makyla Curtis, Ya-Wen Ho, and Jo Giddens, held at second hand book shop, The Open Book on Ponsonby Road,
At event Curtis brought MOTAT Print Shop adana desk top letterpress printer and two cases of type from MOTAT, including case layout designed by Makyla Curtis for typesetting in te reo Māori.
For these three works, forms were pre-printed, handset and photo polymer on the Heidelberg Platen by Graham O'Keeffe. Blue on these works were printed by members of the public who attended the event.
Work "Q ru sim" was written and printed by poet Lisa Samuels at the event.
Authors/printers of two other poems unknown attendees of the event.
