Description
Tapa Cloth depicting the Coat of Arms of Tonga.
The cloth is bordered in black dye. Each corner is decorated with a geometric motif. In the centre of the tapa cloth is the coat of arms. At the top is a monarch's crown, nested in olive branches. Beneath this is a crest with a star in the centre and a couped cross in the middle of this. At the top left corner of the crest is three stars. In the top right hand side of the crest is a crown. In the bottom left corner of the crest is a dove carrying an olive branch. In the bottom right corner of the crest are three swords.On either side of the crest is the Tonga flag. At the bottom of the crest is the text, "KOEOTUA / MOTOBAKOHOKU / TOFIA".
