Along the top of the horizontal arm is a metal spool pin and bobbin winder, each holding a thin, circular piece of grey felt. "Toyota" is embossed in white. At the rear of the sewing machine is the upright arm which has a silver hand winder and several levers, one of which reads, "PUSH" in red. A fabric pulley is connected to the hand winder. Beneath the hand winder is a black plug where the foot pedal power cable can be attached. On the front of the vertical arm is a silver stitch selector and a large white button with an "R" printed in red. Below this is a maker's plate which reads "[?] / AICHI". On the base are three white buttons which read, "NORM / SILK / TACK".

The pedal is attached to the power cable which is insulated in black cotton with white spots. A grey plastic end connects to the sewing machine and a black three-pronged plug can be connected to a power source. "[...] MATSUSHITA [...]" is embossed on the plug.

Part 3: Green and white patterned suitcase. Suitcase has green leather corners, a metal green handle and two locks with key holes.

Brief History
Toyota, founded in Japan in 1937, is most well-known for its cars. However, after World War Two, Toyota decided to focus on peace-time industries. Kiichiro Toyoda, the company’s founder stated: “sewing machines are a peace-time industry and the change will be very good because people will always need clothes.” The company produced its first sewing machine in 1946, with their machines becoming known for their strong motors. By 1999 Toyota had produced 10,000,000 sewing machines and are still making sewing machines today.
