Description
Brass medal with red ribbon for services rendered to Onehunga Volunteers Fire Brigade (OVFB). Shield shaped medal with a relief depicting a fireman holding a hose in its centre. Helmet and crossed axes, depicted above this. Three stars in corners of shield. Flames around shield. On the clasp, "O.V.F.B" is engraved. On the face, "O.V.F.B" is engraved at the top of the shield. On the reverse of the medal, "PRESENTED TO / SECRETARY / C. A. OSBORNE / FOR / SERVICES RENDERED / TO / O.V.F.B / APR. 27TH / 1909" is engraved.
