Brief History
The Ensignette, the first all-metal camera made in Britain, was designed by Magnus Neill, a Swedish engineer who patented the design in 1907. The first model of the camera, the No.1, was launched in late 1909 and became hugely popular as it was practical, compact due to the folding design, and affordably priced.
