Description
Feed pump control unit associated with the Belliss & Morcom steam engines ex-Chelsea Sugar Refinery.

Consists of a blue, tall structure with a large door on the front and a silver handle. On the front door are two small knobs with the text, "START" and "STOP" and a dial which reads, "AMPERES". Beneath this is a plate with the text, "FEED PUMP". Beside these is a handle with the text, "TO INCREASE". On top of the structure is an electrical box with a vent at the front and back. A maker's plate on the right-hand side of this reads, "THE RHEOSTATIC CO LTD / SLOUGH / ENGLAND / VOLTS [...] / IGRANIC SERIAL NO 3562R [...] / MADE IN ENGLAND". The rear of the structure is exposed, revealing the wiring within.
