Heron PC80 E-Car based off a Honda City design with two doors, four seats and four wheels. The car is maroon in colour with "PC80" printed in white across both doors.
The front of the car has a windshield and one windshield wiper. Printed on the bottom right corner of the windshield is "HISHILITE / L M345 / N.G.K.BG / MADE IN JAPAN". A small transparent sticker reads, "MOT 73 / Laminated / .76 b/ Register / No. 106 / WINSTONE / GLASS". On either side of the front of the car is a square headlight and rectangular orange indicator. The registration plate sits between these. Each wheel has a silver hub with a yellow and black crown in the centre and the initials, "KT". On the driver's side of the windshield is a black aerial which is fastened to the vehicle and can be manually adjusted. A small black wing mirror is attached to the passenger side door.
Engraved onto the front right tyre is, "NYLON / 5.20 - 10 / NT-210-01 / 64N TUBELESS 4.P.R / MAX. LOAD 280 KG. AT 2.0 VBAR COLD / E11 022395 / NATIER / MADE IN TAIWAN / DOT K9BH / K26". This is repeated on both left-hand side tyres. On the rear right tyre has, "NYLON / 5.20 - 10 / NT-210-01 / 64N TUBELESS 4.P.R / MAX. LOAD 280 KG. AT 2.0 VBAR COLD / E11 022395 / NATIER / MADE IN TAIWAN".
Within the bonnet cavity is transparent plastic box which holds blue electrical components. A black maker's plate reads, "Designed & Manufactured by / HERON DEVELOPMENTS LTD / P.O.Box 2266 / ROTORUA / NEW ZEALAND". Above this is the VIN Plate which reads, "VEHICLE TESTING / [...] / LAND / TRANSPORT / SAFETY / AUTHORITY / VIN PALTE / VIN PLATE". Next to this is a red switch which has, "HELLA" embossed. At the centre is the metal latch for the bonnet which has "TRADELINE" etched into the surface twice. Beside this is a black fuse with white text, "760 SERIES / PDL / 100A / 10.5W / 660V". Embossed is "BS88 Pt.1". On the far right is a vehicle certification plate which reads, "Low Volume Vehicle Certification Plate / LAND TRANSPORT SAFETY AUTHORITY / Certification Plate No. [...] / Certification Date: 05/07/95 / LOW / VOLUME / VEHICLE / TECHNICAL / ASSOCIATION / New Zealand Hot Rod Association / Make Heron Model PC80 / VIN: [...] Reg. This is placed around a small white canister. On the far right of the bonnet interior is a metal catch to hold the bonnet lid up.
The rear of the vehicle has a large back window which operates as a boot. It can be opened with a black handle and two silver extensions. The right extension has a silver and red sticker which reads, "McPherson / SEM [?] / SHOCK ABSORBER". Printed in white on the bottom left corner of the glass is, "PILKINGTON / 95 / POWERPANE / NZ85443 / LIC2443" and " 7A8LX010795684302". Beneath this is the registration plate and a small light. On the right of this is "PC80" stencilled. On either side of the rear are the brake lights and indicators. Underneath the registration plate is a circular, three pronged plug.
Each of the door's interior has lock, white handle, black door opener and window winder. Across the dashboard is a small, circular fan, a glove box, and the stereo. The stereo is black and rectangular with the cassette holder in the centre and two small dials on either side. Printed text reads, "ON/VOL TONE / [...] / CASSETTE CAR STEREO / AUTO STOP / [...] / BAL TUNE / SOUND". Above the stereo is a sign which reads, "AIR VENT / HEATER VENT / F / A / N". Beneath the stereo is the red button to release the bonnet. On the right of the dashboard is the steering wheel with "HERON" printed in black and white on the centre. A lever attached to the left of the steering wheel controls the windshield wiper with white printed text, "OFF / LO / HI". A switch to operate the hazard lights are on the top of the steering wheel console. A lever on the right-hand side operates the indicators, with printed white illustrations and "OFF". Above this are two arrows with the text, "HI.LO / PASS". Beneath this is the ignition switch. On the far right of the dashboard is a black switch with the text, "DEMIST". Below this is a circular battery indicator with white text, "CURTIS / 900 / BATTERY / INDICATOR". The dashboard above the steering wheel holds the speedometer, currently registering, "003153". Printed text reads, "SPEED km/h". Next to this a various indicator lights including a charging symbol which has an illustration of a battery and the text, "CHG". Next to this is a temperature and fuel gauge.
Above the steering wheel is a white sun visor. A review mirror sits in the front centre of the roof with a small light.
In the front are two single seats, covered in a grey and white patterned fabric. The head rests are grey. Each individual seat has a seatbelt and an adjustment lever underneath and on the side. Sitting between the two front seats is a black gear stick. Printed in white is, "FORWARD / NEUTRAL / REVERSE". Behind this is a black hand brake and two seatbelt buckles. Each buckle has, "securon / AMSERSHAM / BUCKS ENGLAND" printed in gold on the back and "securon" printed in gold on the front. "PRESS" is embossed on the front and top button.
Behind the two front seats is a singular back seat which stretches across the width of the car. There are two seatbelts and buckles. On either side of the seat is a black sound speaker with gold text, "Sound 4".
Accompanying the vehicle are two small metal parts (one from the rear windshield), two small circular plastic gears, a painted blue metal hub and four metal brackets in various sizes. Of the two larger metal brackets, one has "RHS / FRONT" and the other has, "LHS / FRONT", both hand-written in blue.
