Description

Digital photographic JPEG file, original file name JUNE A 2012 044. Image shows shaft wear sleeve that is being sprayed by ABB IRB6 robot at Aerospace Thermal Coatings Ltd also shown in videos WAV-2017-25.3; WAV-2017-25.4. After the application of the ‘Chrome Oxide’ ceramic coating, the sleeves have been ground in a cylindrical grinder, using a diamond grinding wheel, then polished to a mirror finish using the ‘supafina’ process.
