Description

1863 Government of New Zealand Imperial Measure. The measure is circular in shape. Engraved on one side is, "IMPERIAL HALF GILL / 1863", "GOVERNMENT OF NEW ZEALAND" is engraved on the other side. Engraved on the bottom rim is, "[?] [crown] Z / GR / S20M". Engraved on the bottom of the measure is, "VR". Engraved around the top edge are two symbols and the text, "SM / SM".
