Drawing of the Aorangi, a Dessouter light monoplane used by H. L. Piper and C E Kay on the Croydon-Port Darwin-Sydney flight in February 1930. The airplane is flying left, at an angle. Aorangi is painted on the lower surface of the nose. Two figures are seated within the cockpit.
