D-Link DSL-G604T Wireless ADSL2+ Modem.

Part 1: Blue cardboard exterior packaging for Telecom modem. The front of the box is illustrated with black and white drawings including kiwis and the Auckland Sky Tower. “BLOG / INTERACT / POST / SUBMIT / CH@T / CIAO! / SALUT! / TAG! / COMMUNITY” can be found incorporated into the design in black print. A green banner runs around the illustration and across the face of the box. From the banner, a black telecom tower extends upwards with a large, green, billboard-like sign attached to its front. The sign has black and white print which reads “CREATE A WIRELESS NETWORK FOR… / Telecom / BROADBAND / ((wireless network)) / self-install kit”. In the bottom right corner, “CONNECTING / NEW ZEALANDERS / Telecom [Telecom logo]” has been printed in white.

On the right side of the box, the illustration of the tower and sign reading “CREATE A WIRELESS NETWORK FOR… / Telecom / BROADBAND / ((wireless network)) / self-install kit” is repeated at the top. Under this, a black box has been printed with white and green printed text reading “Downloading / and Surfing / Surf web pages and / download emails / and files. / Surf and Talk / Surf the internet and / talk on the phone at / the same time. / Watch, Listen / and Play / Watch video clips, / listen to music and play / fantastic games.” A white sticker with “G604T0” handwritten on it has been adhered at the bottom of this side. The box opens from this end and on the tongue inside, there is printed white text which reads “Ver. 1.00 (TX) / 2007/11/02 / 950220643102G”.

Along the top edge of the box, the illustration of the tower and sign reading “CREATE A WIRELESS NETWORK FOR… / Telecom / BROADBAND / ((wireless network)) / self-install kit” is repeated at the top. On the bottom edge of the box, stickers have been adhered. The first sticker is white with “Model No.: DSL-G604T / S/N: P1HL 184003381 / H/W Ver.: C3 F/W Ver.: V300B01T01.TX / UPC Code /TX / 7 90069 30376 0 / MAC ID: 001E58C3BB8F / MADE IN CHINA” printed on it in black. Printed in light green onto another white sticker is “TELEPERMIT / This D-Link DSL-G604 / ADSL Wireless Router may / be connected to the / Telecom Network / PTC 273/07/007”. The last sticker has “S 1.25MG / ng as” printed on it along with “OK” which has been handwritten over top in red. A white strip with black symbols has been printed onto the box along with the text “CAN 052 202 838 / [ISO-8001 registered logo] / CSA 60950 / UL 60950 / IEC 60950 / EN 60950 / C / US / RECYCLABLE”.

Part 2: Grey and silver D-Link DSL-G604T Wireless ADSL2+ Router. At the top of the router, “D-Link” has been engraved into the object. To the left, a teal sticker with “Wireless ADSL2+ Router” is adhered. A small hole with “Reset” printed above it can be located along the right edge of the device.

Along the back edge of the router there are a series of ports with their connection function printed below them in white “ADSL / 4-3 LAN 2-1 / 12V+1.25A”. On the front edge, there is a teal sticker with “Wireless ASDL2+ Router” printed on it in white. Next to this is a strip with text above and below it reading “Power Status ADSL WLAN LAN / 1 2 3 4 / Link/Act Link/Act Link/Act / DSL-D604T / Generation II”.

Part 3: Black removable antenna with a hinge near its base allowing the part to be folded down.

Part 4: Sealed clear plastic bag containing a black AC Power Supply: 12V 1.25A plug. On the base of the wall plug, “FAIRWAY / ELECTRONIC CO., LTD. / MODEL WRG15F-120C /INPUT: 100-240v- / 1.0A max. 50-60Hz / N1388 / [?]” is printed in white. Along the cord, text is printed in white. At the front of the bag, “4” has been printed inside a recycling symbol.

Part 5: Cream coloured Double Line Filter (for phone and ADSL modem). A short cable with a connection component extends from the top of the device. “15” is embossed on to the component at the end. On the front of the object, “LINE / D-Link® / DSL-12MF-NZ / ADSL Inline Filter / PHONE / ADSL” is printed in blue. At the bottom of the device, there is a phone and an ADSL port.

To the right hand side of the object, a barcode with “A0712039494” printed on it has been adhered above a white sticker with “ACN 052 202 838” printed in black. At the back of the filter, a silver and teal sticker with “D-Link / DSL-12MF-NZ / ADSL Inline Filter” printed onto it in whit has been attached above a white sticker with “TELEPERMIT / This Dlink DSL-12MF-NZ ADSL / micro-filter may be connected / to the Telecom Network. / PTC280/05/001” printed in green

Part 6: Black ADSL cable with a clear connection point at each end. Along the length of the cable, “DINTEK UTP CAT.6 STRANDED – 24 AWG * / * 4P – CM -TIA/EIA 568B. 2-1ETL VERIFIED / ISO/IEC 11801 & EN50173” is printed.

Part 7: Grey cable with a clear connection point at each end. Along the length of the cable, “NIEN-Y AWM STYLE 20251 E21268960oC 150V 26AWG” is printed several times.

Part 8: Grey cable with a clear connection point at one end and a white one at the other.

Part 9: Blue internet cable in sealed plastic bag. At each end of the cable, there is a clear plastic attachment to plug into the corresponding components during installation. “ETL VERIFIED TO EIA/TIA-568B CAT.5 PATCH CABLE [?]” is printed around the cable in darker blue. Some text is unable to be read due to the cable being coiled within its sealed package. White cable ties have been used to hold the cable into its coiled shape.

Part 10: White cardboard box housing modem and components.

Part 11: Brown cardboard cradle designed to secure individual parts of the self-install modem kit.
