Description
Gramophone. Table model 4, H.M.V. Dark wood, opening lid. There is a large turntable in the centre designed to accommodate 78 RPM records. A tuner arm which pivots at the centre in order to rest the speaker and needle on the record, is fixed in the middle of the wooden case. On the side is a slot for the crank handle to be inserted to wind up the mechanism. There are a pair of hinged doors in the front which open outwards and allow for ample storage of spare records.
