Description

Flight Data Recorder System - black box flight recorder. Silver coloured metal oblong case for system produced by Fairchild Industrial Products, Los Angeles, California. Front panel of recorder is bright orange coloured, serial no. 1100. Also added to unit is Underwater Acoustic Beacon, model N15F210B, produced by 'De Kane Corporation' Ultrasonics Division, St. Charles, Illinois, and Fairchild Special Products Division tape (possibly recording tape). Paper label on object stating 'MR 31212-3099'.
