This motorcycle is a 249 cc, single-cylinder model. The C10 was a popular bike and was made, with some modifications, from 1945 to 1957.

After World War Two (1939-1945), BSA Cycle Company joined with Ariel and Triumph, and the 3 types of motorcycles became closely related to the point where some parts could be interchanged between the different brands of bikes. The BSA trademark disappeared in 1971.
