Description
Long piece of Pacific cable encased in a glass display on a wooden base and inscriptions on metal plates. This sample is from The Pacific Cable Board, Bamfield (Vancouver Island) - Fanning Island cable 1926. Type D20/14T loaded conductor 590 lbs. copper per N/M (Nautical Mile). Insulator 370 lbs G.P. per N/M.
