Description
Bust of Sir Charles E. Kingsford-Smith. A plaster bust of Sir Charles Kingsford Smith. The bust is mounted on a rectangular base. The bust has been given a bronze look with a burnt ochre type pigment. Sir Charles is looking downward and slightly to his right. Sir Charles is wearing a shirt and tie with a leather top coat. His left hand resides in his coat pocket. The collar of the coat is turned up at the back. The coat has a wide belt around the waist with an excess of the belt draping down over his left side. Base. The base is rectangular and supports the bust. On the face of the base is a metal plate which reads: Sir Charles Kingsford-Smith (appears to have been removed).
