Description
A very large and long model of a Qantas Constellation aeroplane made of wood and Perspex. The model has a covered cockpit followed by 3 sections covered with transparent Perspex:
The first section consists of 3 rows of 3 seats on the starboard side and 3 rows of 2 seats on the portside. Behind these seats are 2 toilets.
The second section consists of 7 rows of 2 seats each - on the starboard as well as portside of the aeroplane. Behind this is the galley.
The third section consists of 2 rows of 2 seats each. Behind this is a room that has a desk and chair and appears to be an office.
The model ends in a 3-finned tail reminiscent of the Constellation model of the 1950s. The bottom section is painted grey where as the top is white with a red stripe running through the centre.
