Dial type Barometer, round with outer case made of brass. Dial is white with 2 pointers. The longer blued one has an arrowhead at one end and a crescent at the other. The shorter pointer is gold-coloured and is fixed to the central knob which can be turned through 360º from the outside. This pointer has only an arrowhead. On the outer perimeter of the barometer are the indicators: Stormy, Much-Rain, Rain, Change, Fair, Set-Fair, Very Dry On the inner circle is a scale marked: 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31 and between each of these numbers are some more numbers 2, 4, 6, 8 which are uniform and consistent. There is a solid brass ring on the top to hang the barometer. The back is plain and smooth with one screw to dismantle.
