This is to certify that Mr E. J. O'Keefe was admitted a member of the Auckland Branch of the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants of New Zealand on the 10th day of October 1889. 190 (crossed out) M.J. Maws General Secretary.
Certificate has colour illustrations of rail related activities around the sides, two hands shaking in the centre and three women in classical poses at the head of the certificate. Between the pictures are garlands, columns, flowers and lines. Most of the background looks like green marble.
