Description
Sheet of tickets from 1917 to 1940?, including a copy of the original timetable. All the items have been stuck onto cardboard. The left upper corner contains four tickets (weekly ticket, 12 clip concession card, 6d and 1 shilling tickets) from 1917-18. The left lower corner contains twelve tickets (3 day tickets - one stamped C, one stamped CHILD'S, one stamped S - 1/6 return ticket, 1 shilling and 9d tickets, 12 clip concession card, weekly ticket, 1/6 return ticket, and three weekly tickets - one stamped GENT, one stamped LADY and one stamped CHILD) from 1923. The next column on the right contains 12 tickets (six single fare tickets - 7d, 3d adult, 3d child, 1 shilling, 10 d, 8d - two return tickets - 2 shilling adult, 1 shilling child - and four concession cards to various areas - 4/9, 7 shilling - stamped INSPECTOR"S PUNCH - 8/6 and 9/6) from 1928-31. The next column to the right is divided into two parts. The upper part contains a copy of the Tamaki West Motor Services timetable, 20th November 1915 and is marked with felt pen as the original timetable. The lower section contains 8 tickets (six weekly tickets - one stamped WORKERS, one stamped SCHOOL, one stamped APPRENTICE, one stamped WORKERS M'BANK RD, one stamped SCHOOL M'BANK RD and one stamped WEEKLY - one seven section concession card and one six section concession card) from 1931. A felt pen comment says Opening of the waterfront ect, 1931. The column is marked as the present side and contains twenty three tickets (four adult return tickets - 1/6, 1/2, 1 shilling, 10d tickets - three child return tickets - 7d, 6d, 5d - a 6d parcel ticket, three single fare tickets - 8d, 7d and 3d - and one transfer ticket for Glendowie section, four concession cards - unknown, 5 shilling, 4/6 and 1/6 - and seven weekly tickets - three stamped WEEKLY with one each for travel from Glendowie to the city, St Heliers to the city and Kohi to the city, one stamped APRENTICE, one stamped SCHOOL M'BANK RD, one stamped SCHOOL and one stamped WORKERS M'BANK RD).
