Description
Kerosene bicycle lamp. The bottom of the lamp opens up to fill in the kerosene. There is a small wick inside which is controlled by a turning knob on the outside. In front of the burning wick is a convex lens which can be opened up on a hinge and a small catch on the front. On each side of the lamp is a white star-burst reflector. On the top is a chimney for heat dissipation. The lamp is suspended by a bracket which has a spring on the bottom piece. This bracket can be latched onto the bicycle angle bracket by means of a slotted system at the back. This can then be tightened by means of a wing nut to grip the bicycle bracket firmly. On the top of the chimney are embossed the words: "Germania-Laterne CH D.G.M. SCH."
