1 x "Lyric Theatre" Christmas decoration.
This is a complimentary giveaway from the "Lyric Theatre" management to their patrons during the Christmas/New Year season. The complimentary is dated 1916-1917. It is a long fold out which, when opened up, reveals a red semi-circular decoration. When opened up, there is on the left hand side a note on the qualities of MERIT. On the right are some nursery rhymes specially "For the young folk".
On the reverse is the logo of "Lyric Theatre" with the words: "The Show that sets the Standard" and "Symonds St." printed below that. Prices are printed in the right hand bottom corner as:
"Lyric War Prices: D.C. and O.S., 1/-
Stalls, 6d. Reserves 1/6
Phone 3645 and we will Reserve your Seats"
