Description
Brass plaque for Ernest William James. The plaque depicts a helmeted Roman soldier standing erect and holding a trident in her right hand. Her left hand is outstretched holding a wreath. On the left is a small dolphin and another one can be seen just in front of the soldier's face. A lion is standing on all fours next to the solider. On the right, and in a rectangular outlined frame, are the words: "ERNEST WILLIAM JAMES" and on the perimeter of the plaque are the words: "HE DIED FOR FREEDOM AND HONOVR".
