Description

Anchovy paste jar, white China with a black printed label on the front that says: "Anchovy Paste for Sandwiches &c. By Appointment Purveyors to Her Majesty Prepared by Cross & Blackwell 21 Soho Square London Established in 1700" In the centre is a Coat of Arms with a lion on the left and a unicorn on the right. The jar has been glazed both inside and out Jar is cylindrical in shape with a flat base. The top of the jar has been broken away.
