The gramophone consists of a wooden box which houses the interior mechanisms. On the right side of the box, there is a wooden ended crank handle. At the front of the box, "REGAL" is printed on an adhered sticker. A white plate with "WALKER'S PHONERIES / GRAMOPHONE & PHONOGRAPH IMPORTERS / 340 Queen Street, Auckland / (OPPOSITE GREY STATUE)" printed is attached below. Beneath this, "MADE IN ENGLAND" is engraved on a black plate. At the top of the box, there is flat disk bed lined with green felt. A gooseneck tone arm emerges from the back of the unit and is attached to a small round Soundbox at its end. "REGAL / CONCERT SOUND BOX / SWISS MADE" is printed on the diaphram. A large green metal horn is fixed to the top of the tone arm. There is a small control lever on one side of the turntable.
