Description
Chronograph. Round pocket-watch chronograph with white dial and Roman numerals encased in a brass case. The outer perimeter of the dial consists of numbers from 0 ~ 300 in divisions of 5 between each minute and 25 between each Roman hour marker. There are 3 hands in all. The minute hand, hour hand and chronograph hand. On the dial centre are the inscriptions: "Specially Examined" and lower down: "Dorey Lester & Co." In a circle around the centre, are the words: "Centre Seconds Stop Chronograph" and lower down "Kilburn London England". At the very bottom of the chronograph are the words: "Swiss Made". The case back flips open into two parts: On one of the covers it says: "Awarded 6 Prize Medals Swiss Made". On the case back it says: "Dorey Lester & Co. Kilburn, London England Goldore", followed by a serial number: "125442".
