Description
A310 Air Bus Industrie model aircraft. The model had a white body with silver wings and tail wings. There is a yellow, peach, red and blue striped pattern running the length of the model and up the center wing of the tail. Each wing has an engine beneath. There is a metal fixture underneath the model for mounding to a stand. The cockpit at the front is painted black.
Brief History
Airbus Industrie is a leading company is the aerospace field. This model is of the A310 aircraft which was introduced in 1983. It is not associated with a specific country or airline as the livery is of the manufacturer. A310 soon were in high demand by airlines for mid to long haul flights, and over the course of the decade, 255 aircraft were manufactured.

Former New Zealand Prime Minister, Sir Robert Muldoon, gifted his collection of model aeroplanes to MOTAT in late 1984.
