Description
Type of machinery used in printing industry for re-melting linotype slugs of lead. Has 3-phase motor and temperature gauge in C. "Polytype" brand. Comes with a tray on a stand for holding molten metal. There are three channels in tray.
Polytype Machine. Rectangular shaped machine, coloured silver and black (Made of cast iron and painted silver). Has opening lid on top, that is opened with small handle with round bakelight end. Longer handle on front with same handle with round bakelight end. Crank handle on the right where plug attaches to machine. Dial on front above left leg, with hose/pipe attachment on left side. A small pipe attached to top back like a chimney. Logo on front "POLYTYPE".
