Brief History
A small 0-6-0 tank locomotive built in 1926. This locomotive is one of the maker's "Haig" class engines, after a series issued by Canadian foresters during the First World War. This engine was 1 of 2 built for Kempthorne Prosser and Company Limited's Fertilizer Works and was located at their Westfield Works until 1966, when it was donated to MOTAT. In 1987 this locomotive, along with a carriage, was loaned and shown at McDonald's Paraparaumu restaurant. It has since been returned to MOTAT.
