Description
Painted and cutaway for display purposes, this brake drum consists of a large drum, painted silver, cutaway to show the internal/external lining. The hub, painted red, with the studs and centre-section in black, sits on top. At the top, and behind the assembly, is the adjustment mechanism, painted black; and 2 levers, grey, which input the information. The internal/expanding action was the function of the foot-brake; the external/contracting action activated as hand-brake function.
