Description
Physiotherapy Stimulator; Sinusoidal; Galvanic and Faradic current-producer - Cox Cavendish Electrical Limited. Main body and attachments.
-1 Main body - contained in black, vinyl covered box with a grab-handle at the front, albeit missing, and 2 snap catches. There is a round hole on the right side of the case; the lid hinges open. Consists of a black plastic panel with 6 main switches, a miliampere measurement dial and a red On/Off light situated middle-centre; function and increment value printed in white. Each of the 3 current-type switches are along the front, each with 2 screw-down connections. There is a compartment on the left, covered by a door, which contains the electrical extension, the vibration-plates [x4] and connecting leads plus the rod.
-2=5 Vibration Plates x 4. 2 large, but different in size, 2 small, but identical; with connecting leads. Made of soft metal. The leads are covered by off-purple plastic.
-6 Rod - probably used to control vibrational intensity, cylindrical; covered in red plastic/rubber with some sort of black filler inside. Fits into the aperture on the right side of the case.
Used in Physiotherapy to treat various conditions - flat feet, pain relief and circulatory disorders.
