Description
Khaki twill weave wool machine-stitched, long-sleeved, double-breasted jacket, fastened at right front by 5 plastic buttons and 3 metal domes at the right shoulder, along with 2 brass hooks and eyes at centre front collar.
2 hip pockets, one on each front panel, and each covered by a fabric flap. A brass hook is stitched into each side seam and hold the bandolier in position when worn. There is an epaulette on each shoulder, fastened with a metal dome, and each is decorated with 2 raised cloth badges.
Brass RFC badge pinned to each side of the front collar. A fabric RFC badge is stitched to left breast above a ribbon bar. A further fabric badge with 4 stripes is stitched above the cuff on proper right sleeve. A false collar is fastened to the inside of the collar. Leather binds the cuff of each sleeve. The jacket is lined with khaki cotton fabric.
