Description
"Junior Special" single lens reflex camera, for plates or roll film. Black leather case approximately 7" square. Lens - Taylor Hobson Cooke Anastigmat No.129575. Also neck support strap and 7 accessories; plate holders, etc.
Brief History
Thornton-Pickard was based in Altrincham, Greater Manchester, and manufactured cameras and camera shutters. Many un-branded wooden cameras have been mis-identified as Thornton-Pickards because one of the company's shutters was fitted.
