Description

Christening gown - Ayrshire Scotland. Fine Broderie Anglaise trim around neck. Yoke features V shaped Broderie Anglaise panel with a floral pattern, bordered with scalloped Broderie Anglaise trim. Back of neck has Broderie Anglaise trim. Mid length sleeves with Broderie Anglaise at shoulders and Broderie Anglaise bordering at cuffs. Central panel of skirt features 3 half stripes of Broderie Anglaise and 2 full stripes of Broderie Anglaise that join at base of skirt. Bordered by Broderie Anglaise scalloped trim. Hem has scalloped Broderie Anglaise trim. Two drawstring closures at back.
