King George VI Coronation Medal 1937 awarded to Jean Batten.A circular medal with two crowned monarchs in profile on one side and on the reverse the inscription: "QUEEN ELIZABETH GEORGE VI / GRI / CROWNED / 12 MAY 1937"'. The medal is attached to a red, white and blue striped ribbon.
Also associated with this medal is the females ribbon 'bow'. A red, white and blue striped ribbon sewn in shape of a bow with a silver clasp on the reverse.
