Description
2003.573.1 Photograph, framed, Weston Studios, 16+17. Poultry, London, Weston's Studio is written on the square cardboard frame. The frame is white. The portrait is of a dark-haired man, approximately 30 years of age. He has a moustache, a high white collar, suit and waistcoat. There is a rose in his lapel. The photograph is circled by the frame. On the back of the frame it reads: Arthur Weston Photographer (over) 16=17 Poultry, Cheapside London EC. Note: "Poultry" is the mansion house end of Cheapside. Repeat orders or enlargements of the portrait can always be had. Enlargements, Miniatures and Oil paintings a speciality Telephone 8089 Bank.

2003.573.2 Rice paper folder - sleeve folder for protecting the portrait. The writing on the sleeve is: Arthur Weston's Day and Electric Light Studios, Sittings (in all weather) from 9:30 till 6:30 daily. Speciality - 6 Cabinet, 2 poses 13/- or 12 Circle Plats 10/6.
