Description

Black and white photograph of George Bolt. Bolt is wearing flight jacket, helmet and goggles. He is standing next to a seaplane and holding a large bag in his left hand. The photograph is a close up and the entire aeroplane is not visible. There is a caption typed on white paper below the photograph which reads: GEORGE BOLT LOADING THE FIRST AIRMAIL TO DARGAVILLE INTO THE WALSH BROTHERS BOEING SEAPLANE 1919. The photograph is in a cream-coloured frame with brown trim. Sticker on the right side of the frame reads: ACC NO R26 40/78G.
