Hello, 'Jeep' with a capital 'J' is a registered trade mark and is not applicable to a Land Rover. The vehicle in question is Series 2A (Series IIA) with the military nomenclature 'Truck, 1/4 ton, Command Reconnaissance, Land Rover, Series IIA'. It was part manufactured by Land Rover in the UK, with the remainder by the Pressed Metal Corporation in Sydney, Australia. It has the Australian-developed military specification 'cut out' front mudguards with pioneer tool rack. The 'crash bar' is correctly termed a brush bar, and was a standard fitting on Australian and New Zealand Army Land Rovers of the Series 2, 2A and 3. The 'green colour' is correctly termed Deep Bronze Green, and the 'tow bar' is correctly termed a pintle hook. I hope the above is helpful in describing the Land Rover for the benefit of the general public. Regards Mike The headlamps are mounted in the front panel either side of the radiator grill and in front of the radiator (not above the radiator as stated).
