Description
Navy blue wool worsted and royal blue denim, military jacket, air force, fitting to the waist. Collar 50 mm wide. 6 black buttons down the front hidden by the front seam. Left and right breast pockets with hidden button flaps. The breast pockets have a central pleat. The waist is pleated around the back of the tunic. There is a flap extending from the left side of the waist which buckles on the right side front. The shoulders have epaulettes which are permanent and buttoned alongside the neck. The stripe on each epaulette is black white black. There is an observer wing badge on the left breast. Underneath is a medal strip which runs left to right - Defence Medal War Medal NZ War Medal. The inside collar, inside facing and inside waist, are lined with royal blue coloured denim. There is a double layer of denim around the back of the waist with 3 button holes for buttoning the jacket to pants. There are left and right breast internal pockets made with denim.
